Gabal

Master of Beasts, Slayer of Monsters

As the master of beasts and lord of the animals, Gabal represents the feral side of nature and its diversity. Gabal often travels the world in the form of a great beast. Although he might look savage, he is also very cunning. Many gods have been tricked by one of his animals.
Barbarians, druids and some rogues worship him for his strength and guile. The god often sends his worshippers to destroy creatures Gabal finds undesirable in the worlds: aberrations and fey. There are many different depictions of Gabal, but all feature the legs, arms and torso of a powerful man with an animal's head.

Gabal's teachings are as follows:
  • You are nothing more than a beast on this world. Do not believe yourself better than an animal.
  • Cities are just large cages to keep animals locked up. Avoid them whenever possible.
  • Live a free life, without chains to keep you tame.
