City-State of Ardee

Ruled by Duchess Damia Tempest, this bastion is the ancient fort of Magdu in his crusade against the mainland. Many of its defenses are still in working state, making it a well-defended city. The bastion and its city are built with the black stones quarried in the nearby mountains. It gives the city a very hot, dark and doomed look. The law is maintained by a guild of wizard under the direct control of the Duchess. They call themselves the Black Crows and they have learned to use the ancient magic of the city to teleport any wrongdoers into special holding cells until they are ready to 'process' them. For as long as the city stands it has never fallen and the walls, buildings and towers remain in perfect shape.

Death Squads

The Death Squads are a group of highly trained city and quarry guards under the direct control of the Duchess. This unit is composed of 5-man teams performing the most gruesome tasks set by the duchess. Assassination, abductions, and extortions, all over Terria and in the name of the Duchess. For some strange reason, any attempts to revive their victims proved futile as somehow, the spirit of the victim has disappeared.

It is a public secret that the Death Squads still worship the god Magdu even trough out his death and still occupy their part of the Ash Temple.
