Cindel Lydell is said to be the first mage to study the effects of wild magic and made it into a field of study and finding a way to practice the chaos art safely.
Over the years, she had many students and the prestige Mage Mell School of Sorcery. Although she knew the dangers, she was sure to teach the art and warn the students of the risks as well.
Due to an incident with one of the students, a witch hunt started, and she and the remaining students had to flee the city of Mag Mell, settling on the island of Twoice, like land to exist within a wild magic zone. She knew if she were killed, the art would die out with her.
Living an unnaturally long life, she still takes in students, those who can cross the lands without harm. A test, some said to prove your worth and the patience.
Cindel once tied up with Agrendaclya Urdo, a companion of her form her adventuring days.
