Council of Lords

The eight leading heads of state of the Sildramore, Kingdom of, in service of the King. While the lordships are hereditary, the Seated lords are not. Constantly vying for position, the lords compete for the limited seats and nearly unlimited power.
Each seat is a Master of a function of the governing body. Some lords fight for any of the coveted positions. The best hone their craft until there is only one seat they could fill, but no one else could fill it.
