Ilos

Ilos is a world in which magic and technology have had a mutual growth into progress. Its center of growth being the powerful Barigan Empire, world leaders of military and economic might. A world in which mortals in the past have ascended to saint-hood, a demi-god with the potential to become true gods. A world where the skies are conquered with ships that sail through the air, and tales of might and magic are frequently sung within the taverns. Streets are frequently adorned with gas powered lights and electricity is a modern marvel.   The year is the Fifth Solar Era, year 1245, and a new land - a new world as it were - has been discovered on what was once thought as a single continent world. Utomi is a new frontier to the east, and the massive increase in usage of explosives to mine and clear the land has given it the name "The Exploding East." Adventurers and colonists alike flock to the new world, for freedom, work, or a new start on life. The world has seen a massive decrease in mages all of a sudden as well, and no one is sure where they went. Meanwhile, events back in Girnoi - the home continent - seem to slowly be taking place, as a massive political move within the Barigan Empire is bubbling to the surface.
