The Pataran Enclave

The largest bastion situated high in the Suicital Mountains; the small town has been adorned with battlements made of wood, stone and steel with a multitude of structures further down the mountain trail. The town sits on a plateau not too far from the summit of the Pataran Mountain, one of the highest in the discovered range and is an old mining town. The mines have since been converted for fungi and lichen cultivation and the local fauna has provided sustenance for the people. The Enclave is surprisingly a hub of Marlinian activity, its people extremely hardy, and hosts the bulk of the rangers who survey and hunt in the mountain ranges to provide food for their people. Their buildings consist largely of log cabins built from the trees on the mountains whereas their defensive structures and their council building are built from stone and steel and all of the buildings are heavily slanted to shield them from avalanche and wind exposure. Their homes are heated with Essence Inbued volcanic rock from the Ormsk Islands.
