Golden haired and eyed, the Arkaiins were the original inhabitants of the continent.

Dietary Needs and Habits

The Arkaiins live mostly off of vegetables grown artificially. Having a large seedbank of vegetables means that they are never short of different flavours to mix into their foods, occasionally they mix meat into their meals however this is considered a luxury that is usually reserved for the military. They also have ample access to honey as they utilise bees in the pollination of their crops. Those stationed in Enda are given meat jerky due to its long life and survivability in the desert.

Average Technological Level

Having already grasped the concept of radio and the television their culture is more diverted towards producing scientific films and propaganda pieces. On top of the standard WW1 equipment the Arkaiins have developed Essence Based Weaponry. Such weaponry involves the Imbuing ammunition with one of the schools of Essence to cause the desired effect. Imbued weapons also give Essencers enhanced abilities that would only be usable by an expert. Their cities are powered by Glyph technology, providing them with an infinite source of energy to power their transport and food production systems as well as lighting and amenity electronics.

Common Dress Code

Being large producers of silk the Arkaiins use it in clothing production with fashion becoming a larger aspect of their culture. The Akraiin men starting to relax their formal dress sense in favour of silken shirts and informal suits with smaller lapels/lengthed jackets and shorter but straight trousers which went up to their socks. The Arkaiin women are relaxing from long formal dresses towards those of knee height dresses and trousers. The Jazz movement has affected the style of choice too with clothes being made to accommodate the dancing that the genre inspires. The use of zippers and snap fasteners are also becoming more of normality, replacing the need for buttons on clothes.
