The Empire of Tavares

The Empire of Tavares is a massive country to the west of Crestfall. Known for its tight hold on the people there and its abundance of military force, Tavares has a serious knack for invasion. Through the course of its history it has conquered multiple countries and even attempted to take over Crestfall at one point.

Structure

The Empire is head by an almost anonymous Emperor. No one besides his closest allies know the true identity of him or her. The Emperor is the only governing body and the entire country listens to his/her orders with fervor and respect. His/her micromanagement of the entirety of his country has taken Tavares to a golden age of growth and economic success.

Public Agenda

All but not said, the agenda of the Tavares Empire is to conquer the entire world under their flag.

Assets

The Empire has acquired a large amount of excess goods and imports from their military takeovers of other countries. The country is entirely self sustainable and what little trading it does with outside forces, it does in secrecy.

History

Built upon a dream of a powerful magi, Tavares formed as a country after said magi took over a few holdings in the southern regions of Eiweth. This magi became the first Emperor, and upon getting the title immediately entered the shadows to rule with anonymity. The Emperors loyal advisers carried out his many wishes without fail and the country began grow at an alarming rate. It was as if the Emperor knew every move before the surrounding countries could even react. One such occurence was when he ordered a small mining company to begin a mining operation in the Avos river. For weeks they searched for gold and other minerals with little to no avail, until one day over 2,000 barrels came bumping into them from up stream. Inside the barrels was over 60 tons of gold, iron, jewelry and more that had been perfectly procured in the barrels and pushed down the river. They never found the reason why the barrels were made in the first place but were grateful for being placed in such a spot.
