Limbo (Card Game)
Limbo is a simple card game that exists in mostly Dwarvish circles. Most casinos have a Limbo table as it is purely a game of chance. It has grown in popularity so much that a world champion event exists where celebrities play for money. Whoever wins gets the give the money to the charity of their choice. It is watched by millions each year.
The term comes from the uncertainty of each draw and the wonder if your gamble is going to pay off.
History
It has roots from as early as the 1800's and is so popular it has spawned holo-games depicting it in stunning hd. When it began it was a fifty card game but as the popularity grew so did the audience and thus a few changes were required bumping it up to 76 cards. This allowed more people to join and more "action" to develop.
Execution
The basis of the game is this: players pull five cards from a central deck at the same time. They then lay them down at the same time, the one to have the better card wins and takes the other opponents cards. Meaning you count the sum of your cards and if your sum beats the others then you win. Now is when you gamble. You play until the deck is gone and whoever has the most cards at the end wins. There is also the slight stipulation that a random "draw" card might appear in the deck. If a player picks this up he may draw a card from his pile of cards he has won. Gambling is very popular with it because its a game of chance.
