Demographics
The majority of the population are Crystallians. Dwarves and Gnomes. All other people are a healthy mix of every kind.
Government
This city is the center of power for the Monarch who has an absolute monarchy over their kingdom in Bleyton. Military and expenses come directly from the Monarch.
Defences
The external portion of the mine is coated in Micanite a modified form of Micaiumite. Its very sturdy for significantly less Micaiumite. Because Micaiumite produces a significant amount of Micanite making it a great material for defenses. This weakened but still harder and sturdier than iron metal is used in armor, weapons, and the mine coating. This keeps would-be burrowers from digging into the mines.
Infrastructure
Beneath the mountain lies the city. The ceiling is held up by large pillars of crystals. These pillars run incredibly deep and continue to expand as the mines of the city get deeper.
The mines are dedicated to harvesting a rare mineral called Micaiumite for which the city is named. The mines are a complex network of tunnels that continuously hold up layers above it. Growing concerns have stated how close the city is to collapsing and destroying everything in the mines.
Assets
A massive deposit of Micaiumite was found where the city was placed. Because of the mineral vein's shape, the mines needed to be built in a circle around the Micaiumite. Harvesting the material is incredibly difficult to extract and is therefore an incredibly valuable material. It's considered one of the hardest materials in the multiverse. The city is home to the largest deposit of the material that has ever been found.
Guilds and Factions
The city is home to hundreds of factions and guilds. It is a city that never sleeps and there is always something happening in Micaium.
Tourism
Micaium is known for its beautiful crystal work and its safety. The city has the best artisans of crystal and the most attentive guard. The ceiling of the city glows in undulating patterns of color. For many it is the safest city on the continent.
