Legnons Illuna Research Lab
Purpose / Function
The Legnons Illuna Research Lab is meant to enhance the understanding of Illuna magic and the Quintessence of Magic. The professors hold regular experiments trying to further the use of magic.
Alterations
New construction materials have been put in place to reinforce the remains of the ruins. They've also added additional magical seals to protect the ruins from unwanted magical effects. They keep several storage options available inside and outside of the ruins. Nearby there are living arrangements for long term experiments.
Architecture
Made from the ruins of an old Illuna ruins, places of the structure have been held up with new construction. Inside the building is covered in Illuna script and magical runes.
History
As the City of Gold was expanding, more an more buildings were being put up outside of the city, which would eventually end up being inside the city. In this flurry of expansion, one builder discovered the ruins during a dig. Quickly its existence was kept a secret by the Conclave of Races and Legnon's Academy of Magicks was created. While the effectiveness of the Academy has wavered, there were times throughout its history that it has a terrible reputation. Once the head master was removed, things changed. Today, it stands as the greatest place in Itherion to learn magic.
Tourism
Access to the Lab is incredibly restricted, only experimenting professors, members of the Libraries of Celle, and higher ranks within the Conclave of Races know of its existence.
