Iestea

At the beginning of the universe, the Aurolk appeared. There are five of them, each having brought into being one realm. Four of the five created the races to inhabit the realms they made, the fifth, being the one to have created the realm for himself and the other four, created the portals between the realms that connected them. Many centuries passed in peace until a dispute began between the Ptyloga and the Flamalum. No one knows how or when, but eventually the dispute evolved into what is now known as the Iestean War. The war continued ruthlessly until a treaty was signed. The two races now live in a tense state of what is considered peace.   The treaty is almost a figment of Iestea's collective imagination and tensions are rising again between the Ptyloga and the Flamalum. The Athros are being ravaged by plagues, droughts and a crumbling realm. The Crathir have become mindless beasts that are invading and hunting in other realms than their own. Iestea is falling apart and the Aurolk are dormant still.
