Silverwood

A whistle escapes through the cracks. Light bouncing off the worn, smooth stone an owl hoots in the distance. A soft glow emanating from the windows.

When it was found, it was already a ruin. Clearly well loved when in use, this ruined church was repurposed as a hospital during the War of the Divine. Scantily repaired to be habitable, crude walls were erected in rather odd places as sick rooms or surgery areas. Not really used as a main healing location during the war, it was more like a stopping point for any traveling soldiers in the area to get medical care. As well as a refuge for any of the affected townsmen in the general area of the mountain range.

Now, almost 900 years later it is once again a ruin. This once church, then hospital, now ruin would be of high intrigue for any archeologists that happened upon it just for its rather interesting construction at this point. That is if they can find it. Tucked away in the mountains, it is quite literally "off the beaten path". It's now being used by a wizard only known as The Master.

A hideout perfect for those who don't want to be found, it was rediscovered by The Master and turned into a home. Eventually using it as a school to train Licht Allbright, a young changeling he rescued unaware of the power he possessed. This ruin developed a very homey feel, finally, at long last, it was looking restored to the original care it was built with. Elaborate rugs covered the ground, a hearth always crackling in the night it was a very pleasant place to call home.
