Ideora

The world of Ideora is a home-brew fantasy campaign setting for DND5e.   The setting of the world is based very much on a mix of typical medieval fantasy, Regency and Early Victorian Britain and classic Old Wild West with smatterings of 1920/30's noir and civil war-era Spain.
  It is a low magic setting: outwith the major cities and seats of government, Arcane magic is viewed with a mixture of suspicion or awe; few and far between are those with the schooling or the inherent connection to manipulate the weave. Divine magic is rare, but to an extent more commonplace; within the churches, low-level Divine magic is relatively well trusted, however Divine miracles are far rarer.   The races of the world, being human-centric at this point in history, worship a dispassionate Pantheon; no direct contact, to the knowledge of the most ancient scholars, has ever been made with the Gods, though relics and Divine magic indicate that they do exist. More known are the Saints of the Gods, to whom most places of worship are dedicated. The dispassionate Pantheon are dispassionate for a reason; unknown to almost anyone currently living, this age of Ideora exists after an apocalyptic ruin which almost destroyed the world itself.   The wider world contains many races of peoples, creatures and other things. It is a time where an adventurer may make a name for themselves.
