Personal history
Rul'grin is a Prime Tutrakian who was born on the 13th of Firecrest 874. Frequently called Rul'grin the Dire, he is the current Autokrator of Tutrak. Rul'grin is one of the most feared enemies of the mortal kingdoms and empires, more specifically The Empire of Acharis, Kingdom of Ivoria, and the Catavian Empire.
The Dire crossed the Storm's Abyss and fractured The Empire of Acharis, bringing the once glorious nation to its knees. He was unable to establish any permanent Tutrakian mounds, but effectively crushed the stability of the once great empire. His successful campaign in Acharis was followed by an invasion of the Elves of Imvelune, the success of the campaign on the Elves emboldened Rul'grin to invade the eastern continent of Icilieah. He attempted to conquer The Free Cities of Lodoria, crossing The Great Ocean and marching his Tutrakian Legions as far as Northfall before being stopped at the Battle of the Northern Wall.
Rul'grin subsequently invaded Thim Borim, the Dwarven Empire. He devastated many of the Dwarven provinces, but was unable to take the Dwarf capital Belolum. He planned for further campaigns against the main powers of Icilieah, but found himself short on soldiers. After the catastrophic damage he caused to many kingdoms of Icilieah, The Dire drew back his Legions to Tutrak to regain numbers, and calculate another plan on how to torment the mortal kingdoms, and eventually enslave the entirety of Icilieah's population to his will.

Education
As a Prime Tutrakian and next in line of succession, Rul'grin The Dire was tutored and trained by the Elite Tutrakian Duskweavers. As all Prime Tutrakians must, Rul'grin underwent The Harrowing, a sequence of five grueling stages in which Prime Tutrakian must complete to successfully qualify as an Autokrator and Duskweaver. Prime Tutrakians are taught Weapon Mastery, Magical Arts and Spells, Lore of Icilieah, Tactics of War, and the most grueling sequence, Consumption of the Godsap. The last task of The Harrowing involves utilizing all the knowledge and skills the Prime Tutrakian learned during their studies against each other in a fight to the death. The last one standing is then granted the title of Duskweaver and will go on to become the next Autokrator.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Successfully Destroyed the Empire of Acharis, ending the Emperor's Noble Acharin Line of Rocherel. Rul'grin The Dire turned this sprawling, disciplined Empire into a continent full of lesser kingdoms that fear the return of The Dire.
Successfully invaded The Elves of Imvelune, turning the Elven kingdom into a tributary state of Tutrak which Elven lords must send elves to Tutrak as tribute.
Successfully invaded Thim Borim, plundering the gold caches of many dwarven cities and abducting dwarven citizens to work as slaves back in Tutrak.
Failures & Embarrassments
The Dire's worst defeat came to him in the lands of Ivoria. Rul'grin was successfully repelled from scaling the walls of Northfall, and he lost half of his army to the ferocity demonstrated by The Army of Ivoria.
The Dire also failed to take the dwarven capital of Belolum. The Autokrator did not think that the Free Cities of Atlae and the Catavian Empire would send their armies in defense of the dwarven seat of power. Due to the enemies superior numbers, Rul'grin had to call for a retreat.
Mental Trauma
Upon his last sequence of The Harrowing, Rul'grin consumed the legendary Godsap which granted him two boons of magical power, the powers of Telepathy and Command. Rul'grin not only gained two powerful abilities, but also a curse. After the consumption of the Godsap, Rul'grin is known to suffer from some sort of psychosis. The Dire's psychosis manifests in auditory, visual, and sensory hallucinations, which can leave him plagued by various voices. To cope with these voices inside his head, The Dire has forced himself to believe that these voices are his guides; they serve as evasive thoughts, doubts, warnings, guides, and are sometimes encouraging. Rul'grin has a tenuous relationship with his voices, occasionally telling them to leave him alone, but he will also listen to their advice in combat, solving puzzles, judging prisoners, and making strategies.
Intellectual Characteristics
Unlike most of his race, The Dire possesses a calm and collected demeanor. He is a brilliant military strategist, known for his anticipation of enemy attacks and tactical precision. He quickly learned to speak Common, Elven, and Dwarvish in order to communicate and understand his enemies across the sea. The Dire's calm demeanor and sophisticated mannerisms masks his unfathomable ruthlessness.
