Beginning Icarus - Session 1

Welcome to Icarus. A world of darkened skies, the lands bloodied by battle and the beauty of many of the cities having been damaged by the recent battle. The time is 1476 P.D, or Post Divergance. A blistering cold as the season of winter helped to bring out some of the destroyed beauty in the world. The Various kingdoms, Seraphim and Pegasus being the major ones, being aided by their citizens to restore their armies and the destroyed cities. The world is meek, though the various people trying to make the most of it. Adventurers making their way into the cities to look for work as well as places to stay that are warm and out of the various cold winds. A recent blizzard that had attacked the world was making it difficult to perform outside actions without knowledge of the lands they walk in. This story however, beings elsewhere. Far outside of any of the name kingdoms in the small town of Zadash.

Zadash is a part of the nation that Seraphim controls, being its holy town that houses the temple of Taiia, the neutral goddess of Life, Death, Creation, And Destruction, a sun deity with two aspects. Creator and Destroyer of the universe. The temple itself is a bright golden building, surrounded oddly by a lot of taverns and buildings to any directions. The priests and clerics that whorship her Destroyer side spend time in the various building after their daily work is done. Within the temple is a church, a large painted statue in the middle of an alter that depicts the goddess. A humanoid of indeterminate race, with red skin, golden hair, three eyes, and four arms. And at the alter is a priest. A well kept man with who appears to be dilegently working on a spell that he has finally managed to finish as so much research. (Noel's Character.)
