Street music in Gessen
Most troupes are traditional Gessenian troupes, and consist of 3-4 members. In a troupe of three, there will be two people playing a three stringed instrument called a seoget, and a third person will have a small drum. In a four person troupe, a small, flutelike instrument is also added. Gessenian music focuses more on tempo and rhythm than on the notes played, often, a song will be a variation of three to four notes, played in increasingly complex and frenetic ways.
Examples of foreign entertainment include
Hadarasti Priest-Choirs
Bards singing elaborately scripted, prewritten songs, often delivered in installments, from the Tribal Lands.
