Clothing in Gessen
Most Gessenian laborers wear a tunic and shorts that go to midshins. Occasionally, people will wear a kilt-like garment of the same length instead of the shorts. Short hair, usually clean-shaven. Richer people wear a long sleeved white garment, atop of which is a smaller, sleeveless, usually patterned thing. Usually cinched together with a belt. Longer hair, short beard. Aristocrats often borrow freely from other cultures, but traditional dress is a long, winged cloak that covers the arms, a long sleeved, gownlike garment that covers the feet, a strip of cloth, often with coins inset, that covers the mouth, and an intricate headress.
