Isskjoll

It is the old language, the oldest words. Isskjoll. The ships we take out and back. Our heritage. Our destiny.
— Ice Elf navigator
The Ice Elves as a people are dedicated to exploration and discovery. They do this because it is their nature, and also because it is the mission given them by the Goddess Snaerstjarna. Her domain is trickery, and there is always something more she wishes to know about what is happening in the other Goddesses' domains.   Sometimes what her people are told to discover is a long way from where they live, even on other spheres. So they take a boat.   The Isskjoll ("Ice Boat" in the celestial language of the goddesses) is a nearly flat bottomed skiff that carries a 2 or 3 person crew and their supplies. They highest quality isskjoll are made from yronvid - difficult material to obtain and work, but the craft will last for centuries. It can be used with oars on calm water if needed, though the Ice Elves are uncomfortable when it is above freezing. The Isskjoll really shines when rigged with dark triangular sails, long blades are deployed beneath the hull, and it can skate at high speeds over the ice.
Hang on, young ones, Snaerstjarna calls us and we will answer!
— Senior Navigator, preparing to open a hole in space
The Ice Elf outposts in the frozen issteinn caverns of Liggjavard have scribed permanent teleportation circles on the ice near their settlements. Explorer crews with Gust of Wind spells will launch the skiffs out onto the ice, the crew will guide the isskjoll over the runic circles at speed, and Senior Navigators will use Teleport to take the skiff and its crew wherever in the realm they need to go.

Snaerstjarna does not invest many clerics with her power among the Ice Elves - she has a more personal relationship with them. Treat Snaerstjarna as an Archfey Warlock patron that includes Gust of Wind and Teleportation Circle as allowed spells, plus Teleport as a 7th level Mystic Arcanum.
