Osnaghar
Osnaghar (He/Him) is a male human, in his early 50s. Osnaghar is on a divine mission of Oghma to find a library frozen over in @Frozen.
History
Childhood
Osnaghar was born mentally giften. Born in a farmstead, there wasn't much to occupy his mind. His parents took him to the nearest city at the age of 13, in the hopes that they would see his brilliant mind and take him in and teach him. With very little in the form of teachers at the farmstead, there wasn't much he could do to impress the scholars. What convinced them to give him a shot was his strong memory and accurate retelling of events.Education
When they started to teach him, it became apparent how quick of a study he was. He shined in memory and his ability to connect information. They taught him to read in no time and he retained a lot of information from every book he read. Over time, they noticed that his math skills developed less quickly than expected. When they'd explain what a formula decribed, he would remember that easily. But when they asked him to write a formula from scretch, he struggled. It was more like putting puzzle pieces together, than actually understanding the fundamentals of it.Profession
The more knowledge he accrued, the more connections he started to make. He'd read research papers from scholars. When there is pertinent information in other papers or books, he'd inform the researcher about it to help them further improve on their work. He quickly became head librarian, in lead of filing papers and books in their respective categories. As time went by, he started to make a name for himself in certain circles. His true fame came when he started to advice King Alexander XII (the 12th) on a myriad of topics.Oghma's visions
Osnaghar has had visions very sporadically in his life. He attributes these visions to Oghma, the God of Knowledge. Often, these visions related to topics he had been reading about. He'd wake up energized, frantically writing down everything he saw in the vision, often with little drawings. He'd run through the library, picking up books and papers left and right, looking for specific pages or excerpts. After a while, he would piece something together that led to a new interesting discovery or hypothesis. As his knowledge increased, it became harder and harder to connect the pieces of his vision with real-world sources. He blamed this on himself. He'd look time and again at the paper he filled with scribbles and drawings about the vision, trying to piece together what it could mean. It would torment him that he couldn't figure it out, believing Oghma would not give him a vision that didn't lead to a new discovery. His latest vission was different in many regards, as it showed him a building encased in ice. After drawing what he saw and looking into glaciers, he concluded the only place with enough ice to encase a building would be The Frozen North. Given his life, this building was surely a library of great importance. Set in his belief that this would be the biggest discovery of his lifetime, he contacted the king, secured funding and set out to explore. He founded Oghmania and started to slowly explore the frozen wasteland in search of this elusive library.
