Ahmar Pearce Character in Humble | World Anvil

Ahmar Pearce

Ahmar Pearce (He/Him), also known as Ahmar the Tenacious, is a male human, 48 years of age. Ahmar is the leader of the Order of Perseverance. He is a paragon to many people, although his singular focus can make him uncaring and cruel in regards to other societal issues.

History

From a young age, Ahmar was a fighter, always playing with swords. When he was 17, he fought his first battle at Azmarin. His skill did not go unnoticed by members of the Order of Perseverance and they recruited him.   They soon got to know Ahmar for his inspiring charisma. For the next 10 years, he recruited a lot of new members for the order and also showed he was a shrewd diplomat. When the next battle took place at Azmarin, he was already valued for his resoluteness. He did not disappoint in the battle, showing just how far he has come in his skills of combat.   A few years later, the previous leader of the order somewhat reluctantly stepped down. His own accomplishments were dwindling. Many members were vocal about there belief that Ahmar would make a better leader. Ahmar also got the endorsement from His persistency, further demonstrating his popularity.

Leadership

Under Ahmar's leadership, the order convinced Alexander XIII (the 13th) to send a small contingent of highly skilled warriors to Azmarin to help in its defense. Relations with elves and dwarves are also being kept, although they are less forth-coming with actual support.   The most recent battle at Azmarin was again a resounding success among most people. Many a bard sing tales of the successful employ of battle tactics and his great fighting skills. To Ahmar himself and people close to him, the battle didn't deserve nearly as much celebration. The defenses of Azmarin are getting weaker and weaker and there is a great shortage of Life Clerics to heal the wounded. They are more and more relying on manpower, rather then well-organized defenses, which is going to make recruiting increasingly difficult as the danger increases.
