Mission Brief
A local government philanthropist is a patron of the arts here in Biota. A favored painter has been accused of heresy by the system's religious police. These zealots are propped up by foreign pirate agents. He'll be extradited to face trial and likely execution in pirate territory. We can't allow that to happen, but we don't want to incur reprisal from the religious leaders. That's where you come in. Locate the painter, rescue him and, at the personal request of the patron, recover the painting that started this whole mess. Drop Deck

Honestly, I was a little sleepy and didn't take good notes for this one - sorry. Krill in the Assassin, KooKoo in the Vulcan, and Packrat in the Firestarter sprinted towards the facility where the painter was hidden. Barbarian was sprinting too, at least that's how she described what the Urbanmech was doing. KooKoo had her veer away toward the facility where the painting was stored. The Trashcan was never going to make the entire circuit so better to send it towards the finish line early and hope the three of them could handle whatever was after the painter - turns out they could. An enemy Wasp and a Javelin intercepted the three pilots from Elhaz lance and suffered for it. The Wasp overextended a little, took the alphas of three mechs and panicked. The Wasp pilot ejected leaving the Javelin on his own against three pilots with bills to pay... The Javelin pilot tried to flee but was cut down and destroyed. Barbarian had a slighter rougher day. Moving towards the facility where the paintings were stored she ran into a Locust and a Javelin. Clever as a fox Barbarian moved into the woods and called for help while chucking UAC10 fire at the Locust. Krill in the assassin recovered the painter and hung back to protect him while KooKoo and Packrat moved to support Barbarian. The Trashcan's UAC10 made short work of the lightly armored Locust destroying it. The combined fire from the Vulcan, Firestarter, and Urbanmech forced the other Javelin pilot to panic and eject. Painter and painting recovered, though how Krill fit the painter into the Assassin's tiny cockpit no one can say... and she only smiles. Mission results
