Service Dogs

Service dogs are a species of dog that is bred by HSA - Homeland State Authority  to be intelligent, easy to train, and good at following orders.  They are used for hunting, tracking, detection, and security by almost every branch of the service.  Strike Team use service dogs for the tracking of enemies (and separate teams have trained service dogs to track better in forests vs. urban environments depending on the team's general location).  Shield Team uses service dogs in bomb detection and security screenings, in their protection duties, with Shield Teams that focus on larger urban environments able to train their service dogs to spot threats and people following their targets.  Cleaner use service dogs to find materials that need to be disposed of (like using the service dog to scent out any spots of blood that the cleaner didn't see to clean up).  Sentient Teams have trained service dogs to help with the rehabilitation of injuries, especially in cases of agents with spinal cord injuries that need help walking or vision injuries that use service dogs as seeing-eye dogs. Dr. Jenna Cooke is also experimenting with using service dogs to treat emotional injuries (she has a theory that training a dog to realize when an agent is upset/about to emotionally breakdown, could stop accidents by asking for pets)  It is said that service dogs are the best-treated agents in the service, and getting one for your team is a very big deal.
