Welcome to MIZ."The Mekrovian Industrial Zone is the largest single city on the planet of Mekrovia, and some would say is the planet at this point in time. Its vast factory complexes are never silent nor still, always at work producing more products for the demanding masses of the Melov Collective and the broader galaxy. Due to this, living in this city is just as constantly in motion. Everyone is doing something at all times, whether it be trying on the newest cybernetic, or more likely, building said device. With such consistent movement MIZ has gained a reputation as a city that never rests, and never will, a living torture of its own making.
Demographics
The majority of the Mekrovian population is Melovian, with their numbers making up for around eighty percent of the residents of this massive planet spanning city. The rest is mostly made up of Celaakri slaves and their overseers, with the remainder being around ten million souls from across the galaxy.
Industry & Trade
The Mekrovian Industrial Zone has two main exports that leave its vast factory floors. The first of these exports are high quality cybernetics made from locally mined Verinate and other materials. These are what have mainly put MIZ on the galactic map, as demand for these products is quite high, especially among those in the Melov Collective.
The second export from MIZ are powerful VPCGs that have become the envy of many an engineering company across the galaxy. Due to their extraordinary power output, MIZ brand VPCGs have become nearly required for any top of the line space vessel.
Architecture
The Mekrovian Industrial Zone has an architectural style reminiscent of its region's capital, Milion, having large skyscrapers all across its landscape. These structures are extremely stylized, with no two buildings having the same geometry as their neighbor. Some could be cylindrical, others spiral, some even becoming full arches. Despite these variations in structure each building is of the same coloration; a dull, bluish grey that would disappear in the night if it weren't for the city lights.
