Journey to the First

"Do what you wish, but always do it the best of your ability and the betterment of your fellow being. Become closer to the First, live the lives they lived and grow through it."

Originally a belief primarily practiced by the Victracki, it has expanded out into the galactic community and has begun to be practiced in various factions and cultures. Its primary principle of becoming closer to the First is incredibly vague and has become a point of much debate, which has led to many a disagreement on what actions are in line with this and what others are not. Despite this, the Journey of the First is considered a harmless belief system, and in some cultures is viewed as a excellent motivator for their citizens to do their best and pour their entire being into their jobs and other works. Whether there will be consequences for the rapid spread of this Victracki centric religion has yet to be seen, but as the Empty Eye would say "The First will reveal all".

Tenets of Faith

There are three main rules in the Journey to the First, but it is well understood that these are truly guidelines and should not be followed to the letter. The first tenet is that "One must do only what one's heart demands of oneself". This does not mean that you ignore the laws of your government and land, but instead one must follow the path your desires and dreams place before you. The second tenet is that "One's desires do not crush the desires of others". Essentially this law means the path of your heart can not interfere with the path of another. Finally, the last of the tenets is "Come closer to the First in all you do". By far the most Victracki principle of the religion, it boils down to that fact that all of your actions should be in the service of better understand the First and growing closer to the example they left behind.
