The watery homeworld of the Lapron, while nearly lifeless near the surface of its vast global ocean it is teeming with life in its vast depths. Nicknamed the "hidden garden world", this aquatic environment is host to the largest collection of hydrothermal vents of any planet in the Velani Federation. Due to this it is in its abyssal biosphere that life has become most prominent. Many strange creatures have come about in this habitat: from coral environments that have adapted to the high temperatures and lack of light, to an almost entirely non-vertebrate animal population.

Geography

The entire surface of the planet is covered in a vast ocean, with not a single continent in sight. The majority of this watery environment is empty, with only a few pockets of life around its surface. The majority of its biosphere is on its ocean floors around its immense hydrothermal vents. Besides these vents there are many underwater volcanoes that dot the oceanic landscape, with some of these having created large underwater plateaus that have become home to the Lapron people.

Fauna & Flora

Vast populations of various creatures exist around the geological marvels that dot the planet's oceanic crust, with the major food source coming from the minerals produced by the vents. Those that do not subsist off of these vented products instead feed upon the enormous amount of animals that do.

Natural Resources

The major resource of Condathia is its sheer volume of biomatter and mineral output. This enormous volume of biological material has led to the planet being used by the Lapron has a planet sized farm, with their excess being sold to the other races in the galaxy, primarily in the Velani Federation. The minerals and volcanic materials are also sold in large quantities, as many are used in the construction of powerful alloys and some electrical equipment found in many other societies.
