Accomplishments & Achievements
Her most famous accomplishment came about during her creation of the first Galactic Translator. She was in the process of the refining the first prototype when the Drelock Raids began. For the first few years of the attacks she felt relatively safe at her research outpost, as despite it being close to the frontier it was not attacked. Unfortunately, as she was making a trip to the nearby colony to gather supplies it was attacked. The local naval forces did what they could to hold off the attack, but all knew it wouldn't last and the planet had to be evacuated. As she was fleeing to an emergency shuttle, she tried to get a local family to come with her, but she didn't know their language well enough and so they didn't understand and fled to a different evacuation point. While she was able to escape, she saw their shuttle obliterated before her eyes.
This moment became the true catalyst for not only finishing her work on the translator, but going about to personally learn other languages herself. She was on Velani when the races that would establish the Federation gathered to decide a course of action against the Drelock. It was thanks to her now complete translator, and her own input, that they decided to band together to fight off their mutual attackers and found the Velani Federation.
Good backstory for the translator thing, gives a real motivation on it. Not much more to say about that one ^^. Happy Summercamp !
