Human

Humans (Homo Sapiens Sapiens) are among the 7 remaining members of the Hominina subtribe within N'Orvan. Such seven along with Chimpanzees, Gorillas, Orangutans, Orcs, Trolls, Trorks, and Ogres belong to the Hominidae family.   The 7 remaining members of the Hominina subtribe are as follows: Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Artisenians, Halflings, Gnomes, Neladrin, and Goliaths

Basic Information

Anatomy

Many aspects of human physiology are closely homologous to those aspects of animal physiology that correspond. The human body is composed of legs, abdomen, back, neck, head. One adult human body consists of approximately 100 trillion (1014) cells. The nervous, cardiovascular, circulatory, digestive, endocrine, immune, integumentary, lymphatic, musculoskeletal, reproductive, respiratory, and urinary systems are the most typically identified body systems in humans.

Unlike most other primates, humans lack external tails, have numerous blood type systems, have opposable thumbs, and are sexually dimorphous. The comparatively small anatomical differences between humans and chimpanzees are largely a consequence of human bipedalism and greater brain size. One advantage is that humans have a throw much quicker and more precise than other species. Human beings are also among the animal kingdom's best long-distance runners but slower over short distances. The thinner body hair of humans and the more active sweat glands help avoid heat exhaustion when running for long distances.

Genetics and Reproduction

Human females have smaller birth canals as a result of bipedalism. The human pelvic structure varies from other primates, much as the toes do. A trade-off for these advantages of the modern human pelvis is that childbirth is harder and riskier than in other mammals, especially given the larger head size of human babies relative to other primates. Human babies have to turn around when they move through the birth funnel when other primates do not, making humans the only species where women typically need support from their sources (other members of their species) to minimize birth risks. Human fetuses are born less evolved and more fragile, as a partial evolutionary solution. Chimpanzee babies are cognitively more advanced than human babies before six months of age when accelerated human brain growth surpasses chimpanzees. Another distinction between humans and chimpanzee females is that by the end of their lives, humans go through menopause and become unfertile for decades. Both non-hominid ape species are capable of giving birth before death. Menopause undoubtedly evolved because it provides younger relatives with an evolutionary advantage over the more sustained caring period.

Ecology and Habitats

Humans tend to live all over N'Orvan. They Are well adapted to live in most climates and can extend their reach even further w/ the various pieces of technology.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Human beings are omnivorous, capable of eating a wide variety of plant and animal material. Human communities have followed a number of diets, ranging from pure vegan to predominantly carnivorous, varying with available food sources in housing areas, and often varying with cultural and religious norms. In certain cases, dietary restrictions in humans may contribute to deficiency diseases; however, stable human groups have adapted to many dietary habits for the use of nutritionally healthy food sources through both genetic specialization and cultural conventions. The human diet is highly represented in human culture and has contributed to the development of food science.

Until agriculture developed roughly 10,000 years ago, Homo sapiens used a hunter-gatherer method as their sole means of collecting food. This involved the combination of stationary food sources (such as vegetables, nuts, tubers and mushrooms, insect larvae and aquatic mollusks) with wild game, which must be hunted and killed in order to be consumed. It was proposed that humans have been using fire to prepare and cook food since the time of Homo erectus. Around ten thousand years ago, humans developed agriculture, which is a material used by humans. This dietary transition may also have altered human biology; with the expansion of dairy farming offering a fresh and abundant source of food, contributing to the enhancement of the ability of certain adults to absorb lactose. Agriculture has contributed to increased migration, urbanization and the broader spread of infectious diseases due to the growing population density. The types of food consumed and the way they are prepared to have varied widely according to time, place, and culture.

Human beings will usually live without food for two to eight weeks, depending on the accumulated body fat. Survival without water is usually limited to 3 or 4 days. Each year about 36 million people die from causes directly or indirectly linked to hunger. Malnutrition in children is also widespread and contributes to the global disease burden. However, there is not even global distribution of food, and obesity in some human populations has increased exponentially, leading to problems in health and increased mortality in some developed countries, as well as in some developing countries. Over one billion people worldwide are obese, while 35 percent of people in the United States are obese, which results in this being described as an "Obesity epidemic." Obesity is caused by eating more calories than consumed, and an energy-dense diet typically induces unnecessary weight gain.

Biological Cycle

Humans aren't typically affected by the seasons, they are however by the passing of time their hair tends to turn white and then fall out gradually as they age.

Humans typically two eyes situated above a nose that is above a mouth with two ears located on the sides of their heads. the nose and mouth are not connected to form a snout which is very typical in primates.

Civilization and Culture

History

Early History: The Human tribes of N'Orvan appeared around 25,020 years ago. They were marginalized and enslaved by almost every other race they had come across. But a tribe of mysterious and unknown origin of whom the humans had dubbed Outlanders had ████████ ████ the world of N'Orvan from ███ ███████ ████ █████ . The Outlanders had received a message from their oracles and were tasked with freeing the first slaves of the world they had once left behind. Ever since their first encounter with another kind that didn't hate them, Humans have since become one of the more prominent races (In terms of population at least) but have since forgotten the legend of the tribe that once saved them.

Middle-Ages: Several Empirical Dominions have since formed with only one true nation:Ravnikoa had formed since then. And the first great war had swept across the continent of Euribouria, and several still oppressed Humans, Tabaxi, Aarakocra, and Artisenians wanted to fight for their Independence and so a slave uprising had occurred and a new waring party, The Falklanders had emerged lead by the oppressed and enslaved of three now extinct Kingdoms, the kings of old had their heads mounted on pikes and even the poor agrarians had joined the rebellion. and when the first great war was over, The Falklanders having created their own nation (dubbed the Democratic Republic of the Falklands) quickly joined the aid of Ravnikoa in their war against the Legion of Monsters. The resulting war was once again aided by the Outlanders who had their nation, The Areosian Outcast Union working on a plan to storm the great flayer's keep.

Human skin colors vary from the darkest brown to the lightest hues in variety. The skin pigmentation of an individual is the outcome of biology, being the consequence both of the genetic makeup of the biological parents of the individual and of sun exposure. In evolution, skin pigmentation in humans evolved through a natural selection process mainly to regulate the amount of ultraviolet radiation that penetrates the skin and to control its biochemical effects

Age. Humans reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century. Alignment. Humans tend toward no particular alignment. The best and the worst are found among them.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice. Humans typically learn the languages of other peoples they deal with, including obscure dialects. They are fond of sprinkling their speech with words borrowed from other tongues: Orc curses, Elvish musical expressions, Dwarvish military phrases, and so on.
