Heartwood
Gifted by ancient trees in sacred groves, heartwood is widely used by young druids to fashion weapons and shields. Heartwood armor is resistant to bludgeoning damage, but vulnerable to slashing.
Emberwood
Sourced from the ever-burning trees of Flameheart Forest, emberwood is imbued with the elemental magic of the Fire Plane. A shield made from emberwood provides protection against fire. Magic items fashioned from emberwood provide protection from cold climates.
Arcanite
Created by infusing electrum with raw arcane magic, arcanite is usually found in the possession of accomplished wizards and their schools of magical practice. Weapons forged from Arcanite deal additional force damage. Arcanite is a favored material for crafting arcane foci.
Arcanite Spelleater - Has to be attuned to a spellcaster. When you roll a 20 with an attack against a creature with at least one spell slot, that creature loses a spell slot.
Arcanite Armor - Has to be attuned to a spellcaster. When a spell attack of 1st level or higher misses you, you regain a spell slot equal to the level of the spell, up to the highest level you can cast. If you have no unspent spell slots, this property has no effect.
Astral Crystal
Harvested from frozen asteroid belts in the Astral Sea, astral crystal can be hewn to serve many purposes. Can be used to increase the potency of Conjuration magic.
Sky Steel
Mined from meteorites that plummet from the Astral Sea, sky steel is exceptionally resistant to magic.
Aeternium
Angels and their celestial kin bear gleaming armor and weapons of aeternium, smithed in the golden forges of the Heavens.
Infernum
Forged in the soul-fueled flames of the Hells, the armies of Asmodeus don infernum armaments for their eternal crusade.
Primordium
Infused with the raw power of the Elemental Planes, primordium can only be found in places so ancient as to predate all known history. It is rumored to be the foundational material from which the Material Plane itself was formed. Because of its inherent magical instability, it can only be handled using tools made of Sky Steel.
