The Dreaded Night

The Dreaded Night, also known as Winter Solstice, is an phenomenon caused by the Gods influence on the world marking the day with the shortest period of daylight and the longest night of the year. This night also marks the end of the Skeleton war when Bmolas champion slayed the Skeleton King and ended his undead march.

The Gods

Colden and Heller

Colden and Heller are angered on this day, the balance has been shifted. As a retaliation upon the world for deifying their order the twin God's push their magic dulling quality's across Hirotopia, an attempt (even if a little childish) to gain some control.

OrochiKuro

Orochikuro Loves The Dreaded Night for he can twist it into a nightmare. Orochikuro opens the gates to his unholy plane for this night only letting many of the tormented and demented souls leave to cause havoc and spread insanity across the night, they are dragged back to their hell's when the sun rises. Many believe that this sinister God is the reason why the day is feared and earned name The Dreaded Night.

Nazambi

Nazambi has an interesting change of heart and mind on the Winter Solstice. Nazambi lets her grip on all the reanimated spirits go for the night, curios and interested in watching what they get up to now that they have their former ambitions granted back to them. This also causes some peculiar or savage interactions between Nazambi's undead and Orochikuros Demons.

Stellan

Stellan absolutely loves the longest night of the year, since it is the longest night of the year it also means that you are granted the longest rest of the year. Stellan gives many gifts to all those that sleep on the longest night, he protects their home with sleep zones witch draws your mind into his dreamland where you have the greatest time. Evil thoughts and beings are denied entrance past the sleep zones, but they are only active as long as you are sleeping.

The People

For the ordinary folk of Hirotopia this time of year is for remembrance and to give thanks for the lost souls of the Skeleton war and all since. There are rumors that if you dedicate yourself to the memory of a past soul that you had an powerful bond with you may see them again as a ghost, you would be able to speak with them throughout the long night. The ghost has no idea they where they were and no memories of death.
