High Fantasy Thing

When raiders come to Pai's village, taking her family and home from her all in one day, she's thrust into a cold and unwelcoming world that has no place for her.   Queen Sarena has ruled for nearly 16 years, but with no heir and a court of advisors she does not trust, her crown may not be as safe as she believes.   At just 11 years old Zivya has powers that some five times her age do not possess, but secretly she fears they will take her places she may not be willing to go.   Beyond the boarders of their kingdom war is brewing, a war that will bind Pai, Sarena and Zivya together in a destiny from which they cannot break free.
