Here There be Monsters

In an alternate universe where magic is a part of daily life, humans and Creatures have long since been at odds with each other.   A group called the Organization claims to be seeking peace for both sides, and employs a team of Mages and Creatures that travel around the world, solving conflicts and eliminating problem Creatures. Their goal is to make the two species equal, they claim, however, there is much more to the Organization than it first seems.   Behind the scenes is a complex web of magic using families, mistreatment of the very Creatures that are supposed to be terrorizing humanity, and a secret evil that lurks behind the shadows of the Organization.   The main forces at play are humans, Creatures, and their inbetween; magic using humans called Mages. All three sides have reasons to be against the others, and it's a complex system of mutual abuse and harm that has led up to the way the Organization functions today.   Within this world are a variety of magical species, a system of humans using the same magic they claim to detest, and a highly detailed organization that employs everything from magical humans to the very Creatures they claim to want to help.
