The story of Mertiss

A long time ago there was a man called Mertiss. Mertiss lived in a city full of Preconians called Goldspire. Here he were able to live a happy and full life from his experiences. At an age of 20 he learned that he had been hidden away from the world by his parents, both because for his safety and his parents honor. When his existence where made known to the public he were immediately shunned and sat on a boat toward Soun. This was because of his apperance, his skin color, eyes. Mertiss without choice started traveling in search of a new home. In his years of travel he learned that this were a fitting lifestyle for him as he could experience new things and explore his curiosity for the world. One day when he were traveling around a big mountain that he had found he were found and chased by a couple of Demons. In his haste he caused a rockslide which made him fall into a hole in the mountain. In his fall he hit the walls of the hole many times causing him great harm but slowing his fall resulting in him surviving the fall. With fatal injuries he woke up in a great cave inside the mountain not knowing where he was but his survival instincts telling him to seek help. While looking around he saw a great light looking like the sun, he moved toward this light with great effort thinking this would be an exit and possibly his salvation. After getting closer he noticed that this light were only a white crystal shining in the dark, and at this moment Mertiss lost hope. He were thinking of the pain of his life, his family and how he would never see them again and the great wonders of the world that would never be able to explore and he weeped. Mertiss feeling a great pain in his hand looked up to see him merging with the crystal. While feeling great pain this continued until only a statue of crystal remained of Mertiss. This is where Mertiss met his end, but where The First were born. The First woke up feeling great power flowing through him and a crystal attached to his chest. Going on pure instinct The First, feeling a great hunger seeked out more of these crystals and consumed them. His crystal turned into a bright blue, looking like a blue quartz crystal.

The First

The Katt’ahll originate from one individual that the Katt’ahll call the First. The first created them in the beginning only with normal crystals which created male Katt’ahll and then later tried to create female Katt’ahll. But the female form were flawed this caused them to have a very lethal experience if they ever tried to reproduce. This happened with the first Katt’ahll which created a hideous deformed monster barely having a consciousness. The first threw this being away and thought it would die after a while. After this first mistake he where able to recreate his creation but with this fault majorly reduced which made normal life, and reproduction possible. The katt’ahll became many and lived a great life following the first. One day the deformed creature came back wanting revenge for being treated the way it was, it went on a rampage killing and absorbing katt’ahll until the first came to stop it. A fight ensued which the first ultimately won, though seriously wounded. The first later “Died” and the Katt’ahll built their town surrounding his crystal, waiting for his rebirth.

The Prophecy of Tellus

From the Lorekeepers we have learned of a prophecy. A being of light called Tell and a being of darkness called Tarr will be collected and brought to eachother. With that a fight will ensue and in the end creating a merge of the two called Tellotarr. Tellotarr will then in turn be brought before The First. The First will the combine powers with Tellotarr and they will together create a new being by merging together. This new being is fortold to be so powerful that it can create new worlds and destroy words in an instant. This being is called Tellus and will effectively be the rebirth of The First. Tellus will then lead the Katt’ahll and all other races willing to follow it to a place akin to a paradise.
