Erit-Kara Baldwin or Erit is a character that has a main role throughout the series. she is a manipulative, frank and passive-aggressive character who wants a place in the world. she was Declan Bickmore's first "friend" at age thirteen.

General Physical Condition

she is a short and lean girl with excellent agility. she can run long distances but prefers not to because she prefers reading. she has a straight body shape with a flat chest. she is prone to getting shivers and has had pneumonia once.

Body Features

her skin tone is riviera (medium skin tone with yellow/brown undertones). her doesn't get easily burned but she doesn't tan either. she has freckles along her shoulders and arms but not her face. she has no fur on her body. she shaves her legs but nothing else because she hates giving men what they desire.

Facial Features

she has a triangular shaped face with perfectly arched, brown eyebrows. she has full red lips that perk out. she has a lean face with a small jawline. she has a round nose with a few black heads. she has no facial hair. not all of her hair fit perfectly into her ponytail, so they fall down the side of her face. it shows off her silver earrings.

she has silver studs in her ears, but that is it. she has a birthmark along her rib cage. she doesn't like it but she can't be bothered to get rid of it. she has no tattoos but if she were to get one, it would be of planets and stars along her collarbone.

she is right-handed and uses it for everything. she is small in stature but she will make sure she takes up space. when she is angry it is usually the larger of the two cowering. she refuses to bow down. she has short strides but she can walk quickly when she wants to. she is great at multitasking. she standing still she puts her hands on her hips (when thinking she pouts).

she has the Fae power of ice and wit. her power descends from the Goddess of Ice and Wit, Conary. she isn't a descendant of the Gods but her power is of a considerable amount. the thing that separates her and Declan is her will to use it to get what she wants. she is quite witty and argumentative which can further her ambitions if she plays the people right. never challenge her for knowledge because she will defeat you.

• Summer: she wears yellow singlets with short, white pants. she still wears a ponytail. she refuses to wear closed in shoes but goes barefoot everywhere - even in her store. she wears silver jewellery all the time, no matter the season. she wears no makeup during Summer saying it is 'too hot underneath cake'.

• Autumn: she begins to adorn jackets and three quarter tights. she likes denim jackets - imported from the Human Continent - Impedina. she still wears her yellow singlets until it gets into the later Autumn months. she wears black belts and enamel pins from Magenze (Magician and Elven realm). she wears black flats.

• Winter: she wears pale pink woollen jumpers in a u-shape with a silver chain with a diamante. she wears full-length black track pants. she wears brown slippers/boots with white wool on the inside. she adorns a light grey beanie and her hair is finally let down.

  she was put into the frozen unit. she was to use her ice magic to freeze the items of the Dynasties so the destruction unit could destroy it to smithereens.

• she wears female silver and blue armour during the Civil War to represent the Night Dynasty. she wears an intricate female breast plate but it is designed to protect but remain flexible for the frozen unit. she carries long daggers in her calf bracers if she has to fight her way out of a situation - or when her power depletes. during the Great God War, her armour magically turns red, blue and gold. she was never going to fight in it anyway. she went to find Declan to further her ambitions.

Personal history

• she was born in 2183 to a mother and father. her mother passed away during childbirth. her father was in despair but he never truly wanted the child but he looked after her because it was her mothers last wish.

• at age 5 (2188), she first went to the Fae school because she was driving her father insane with all of her questions. she was already wanting to learn about the world. she was also a demanding child. she started a year earlier than most Fae because her father couldn't stand another question.

• at age 6 (2189), she became friends with some of the most ambitious and intelligent students at the school. she could just tell that they would help her succeed in life even if they didn't know that yet. her teachers didn't like her constant questions and 'why?' but it was their job.

• at age 8 (2191), she punched a boy in the face because he didn't like her bossing him around. that was the day she became a feminist. no other boy questioned her leadership because she could destroy them intellectually and physically.

• at age 12 (2195), a new boy insulted her height. she was secretly harbouring feelings for this boy. she never liked him again and she trod on his foot and broke his toe. she was at the top of the class for every subject but flourished in languages, science, business and legal studies.

• at age 14 (2197), she noticed a shift in behaviour amongst people and nature. she noticed that the wind grew stronger and more animals arrived.

• at age 16 (2199), she fell deeply in love. it was completely against her nature and she was scared. she slowly started to show her feelings towards this man in her class by throwing herself into lively debates that she couldn't care less about and helping him with work. he ended up kissing her during an assembly.

• at age 17 (2200), she got incredibly drunk for it was the beginning of a new century. the celebration lasted for a month. she and Callum ended up in bed. her father was livid.

• at age 18 (2201), Callum cheated on her just before she graduated school. she learnt then to never let your guard down for anyone. it broke her heart but she will never forget. during her drunken rampage, she met a girl named Yasmin - she was one of the strongest lightning wielders she had ever seen

• at age 20 (2203), her father left her for another dynasty. she never saw or heard of him again.

• at age 22 (2205), she began her own bookstore: Erit's Book Shack. it became a good business as people could either buy or borrow books. she loved it dearly and if anything ever happened to it, she would shrivel up and die. Yasmin help set it up but set off to find her own career in the Moon Dynasty. Erit thought she'd never saw Yasmin again.

• at age 24 (2207), she witnessed Declan Bickmore (10) produce an amazing feat of wind magic. it reminded her of Yasmin. she analysed him closely for a year.

• at age 27 (2210), she hired Declan Bickmore out of the blue if he wanted to work at the store. even though she could easily manage the store, she wanted to learn more about him and his magic. thus, the careful manipulation began. the talk of Civil War started.

• at age 29 (2212), Declan was working and his bullies came into the store. the bullied him mercilessly and began to destroy the store. Erit knew Declan would do nothing about himself so she intervened. she got so angry and insulted them until they had no pride and walked shamefully out of the store.

• at age 30 (2213), the story of Hell is Rising begins. the Night Dynasty's Heirs illegitimacy is considered. that is when Erit knew that Declan was the Heir even if he didn't. she slowly manipulated him to release more of his power to the public. but he refused and questioned. it was like he knew her every move. she just had to be smarter and more cunning.

• at age 31 (2214), the Night Dynasty was using propaganda methods to recruit Fae to fight for the Night. Erit signed up because she was able bodied and over the age of 20. she was trained intensely for six months in the frozen unit.

• at age 32 (2215), the Civil War begins and she is fighting for her life.

• at age 38 (2221), the Civil War ends and she ends up with many scars all over her delicate body. however, she has never felt more alive. she liked the feeling of fighting. it made her feel free.

• at age 39 (2222), she mourned the death of the Heirs. she remained in her bookstore for 39 years - wondering. she was becoming more involved in the Malvar politics and ended up in a minor role. it paid well which she used to expand her business.

"Not all Queens wear crowns. Some use words and cunning and careful manipulation to end up on top. I am that Queen and you didn't even notice."

• at age 78 (2299), she began wandering the continent for the lost Heir - Declan and Yasmin. they were too smart to die in the Civil War. she saw signs that they were both still alive, hiding. she set out on a quest.

• at age 80 (2301), the Great God War began. she did not fight. she wandered the continent of Scura, determined to find Declan and the other alive Heirs. she knew they were alive. she just had to find them. it was that easy. she knew of two -

• at age 84 (2305), she ended up in the Sunon Dynasty. she witnessed Declan get slain by the demons. but it wasn't the demons that killed him. it was a black-haired, beautiful girl who threw the knife. she attacked her afterwards and demanded answers. she did not like the answers given. she then joined Hannah, Lillian and Gordan to find the other Heirs.

• at age 85 (2306) they travelled to many Dynasty's trying to find the Heirs. so they can kill them. so they can return.

• at age 87 (2308), they find Yasmin in the Stranga Mountains, fighting the demons. her tactic was to stay hidden in plain sight. she was fighting in a unit of incredibly powerful Fae so they hid her well. Lillian ended her with a spear of ice to her heart.

• at age 90 (2311), they find Neil in the Whining Ice caves in the Stelog Dynasty. he was hiding in the last place demons would find a flame wielder. Gordan killed him this time.

• at age 95 (2316), an Elven and Magician convoy end up in Fiorenza holding a dangerous being. the last Heir. she put up a fight.

Employment

she had to finish her school and deal with heartbreak. she came back stronger. she decided to follow her passion for reading and started a book business revolving around all genres of books. she was 22. however, her true ambitions lay in politics and business. she started with something small - a book store - and would grow in the business world. her ambitions were stalled because of the Civil War. she was a fierce soldier in the War and these skills helped her slay the demons later in her life. when she weighed up the possibilities of returning to Fiorenza, she decided to stay because Declan was now a lost cause to her. she then became a scholar in politics and business.

Accomplishments & Achievements

• she became top of her class in all subjects because she is competitive and must be the best.

• she punched a boy in the face at age 8 because he called her bossy and he didn't like it. it felt good to get some of her simmering anger out even though it was violent. however, she was taken to the principals office.

• her first boyfriend kissed her in front of everybody. it felt nice to have love.

• she successfully graduated school and started a business four years after leaving.

• she was carefully manipulating Declan to show his true colours. however, he was surprisingly strong willed to her manipulations.

• she was beginning to become an influential politician in Malvar, determined to make it to the Heirs level, even if they were all dead.

• successfully survived the Civil War and the Great God War. and she also killed the remaining Heirs without death.

"It's amazing how there are trillions of nerves in my body and you managed to tick off every single f***ing one of them. Your mother must be proud."

• she broke the toe of her crush when she was 12. he never went near her again but she got over it.

• she was embarrassed that Callum kiss her in front of everybody.

• she let her guard down for a guy.

• she let the chicken get the best of her during a class excursion. chickens are now one of her main fears.

• she failed in her manipulation of Declan and left the Heirs cause for knowledge.

• she had a massive fight with Lillian. it was like a cold fight; ice against ice. Hannah and Gordan refused to choose sides even if they would choose Lillian.

• she almost got kicked off the politician table because she lost her temper at a misogynist male.

• she is a minor sociopath (ASPD) through her deceitfulness and manipulativeness to get what she wants, aggression and irritability. she also has an underlying notion of anger and bitterness in everything that she does. she is also okay with hurting people to get what she wants.

• Fear of Chickens: she has a fear of chickens from an experience in her younger years. it was during a class excursion to a farm and she wasn't listening to the instructor about the chickens. they were more aggressive than actual chickens - they were imported from Impedina. she was acting bitter and went to hold the chicken and it bit her earring off, leaving a gash in her ear. she screamed whilst everyone laughed.

• Fear of Dying: she doesn't want to die by any means. she is scared of what is beyond the veil of life. she fears the Gods or Demons will take her to the Light or Dark. she doesn't want to feel the wrath of either good or evil.

• Fear of Blindness: she would never be able to read again and it causes her much distress. she wouldn't be able to observe the people around her. she would be miserable and hate life.

Intellectual Characteristics

she is a logical thinker. she brings reason to Declan's philosophy. however, she does love to learn about science, politics, business and languages so she forms inquiry questions and finds a logical answer to them all. she doesn't speculate; she goes off facts, findings and experiences. she analyses most situations so she can benefit from it. her reports tend to be straight to the point and have no mercy to what she discovered. one time, at the end of her report she wrote, "And I have concluded that this is bullsh*t and a complete waste of my time. Don't bother researching the bullsh*t further because you will get nowhere." she sent this to the Fiorenza University.

she isn't the most moral person because she isn't afraid of hurting anyone to get what she wants. however, she refuses to kill anyone out of cold blood. there must be a reason for murder and killing - like War. she prefers to go by logic instead of philosophy but she does wonder about reality and existence. she is not afraid to manipulate people to get what she wants.

she will invest her time in people she thinks/knows will get her far in life, even at a young age. however she completely avoids the people in the middle of the pack who have nothing special to offer her.

• she became close friends with Yasmin during the first years of adulthood. she felt deep sorrow when Yasmin left to pursue her own career.

• she became a Malvar politician. she has a strong relationship with one of the other politicians - Healer Levi Tigra. he is the Head Healer and influences the health and healer department. he gives her free treatments for books about healing.

• she joined the expedition with Gordan, Lillian and Hannah to kill the Heirs. she didn't grow a close relationship with them, but more acquaintances. she wouldn't care if she never saw them again.

• she became a prosperous scholar, businesswoman and politician in her later years. she gained many allies and enemies through this path, but she didn't care. it was what she loved.

her father has many ties to the people in Malvar through his parties and games. he is well regarded around the adults but towards kids he is condescending, rude and exhaustive. however, she made her own ties with people to alleviate her social standing.

she can be charismatic when she wants to be. it usually revolves around her trying to get what she wants. she is quite confident in her opinions, which can cause her to have a bit of an ego/arrogance. she is an ambivert, meaning she is both introverted and extroverted. it depends on who she is around, but is more of an extrovert. when arguing and insulting others she isn't polite. she will be polite if she has to.

she sighs when exasperated. when thinking, she stares at a wall until her thought train is fully formed - that can take all day. she rolls her eyes on a daily basis. she someone is boring her, she looks off into space, thinking about how boring this person is - it can get her into trouble if the Fae is a Thread. she taps the surface with her nails when impatient and thinking. she is sharp and straight to the point. she has a killer death glare that she rarely uses.

• I can see Jennifer Aniston playing this character, however, Erit is a lot shorter than Aniston. However, her face shape and thinness would be perfect for this character. I would also love to see Aniston play a stubborn, passive-aggressive and ambitious character.
