Vita

The Vita family rule this Imperadom from Lorteii, a wonderous city of the purest white marble that overlooks the clear blue Lake of Life. The city is famous for it's Priests of Iapetus, renowned for their powers over life and death granted by their Titan lord. Rumours have always existed that the true power is simply the lake itself, that the waters there find their source from the legendary and famed fountain of youth. It is unknown whether these rumours are true but many a treasure hunter has sought the fountain and the blessings it would supposedly bestow. The rest of the Imperadom reaches far into the Northern mountains and is considered the coldest part of the Marble Coast especially the closer to the mountains you get. The most notable of landmarks outside of the Lake is the Fortress that mans the Marblite side of the only valley pass to Usilia, nowadays the pass is simply used as a merchants route but it was the location of many battles throughout the past.
The Vita family itself is a family very strict with their reverence of the Titans and namely the cities patron deity, Iapetus. They are led by Imperator Septimus Vita, a pious man who rules with a strict but fair hand in a way (in his interpretation) the Titans themselves would want the city to be ruled. It is believed his wife Valentina Vita is the true power behind the throne due to her increased participation in the cities rulings while her husband fasts, leads services and tends to the sick, amongst other priestly duties.
