Oylovka
The city is split up into sectors each with their own specific rules. A sector is usually many layers underneath the surface, some are connected to Gugruvik.
The sectors are:
- The Residential sector - A multilayered sector with homes for the standard citizen with some of the higher end homes having a cliff view. A bar/hotel is aptly named the Stone Palace with high-end rooms being above the surface and the more common rooms below the surface.
- The Subjugated sector - In its’ simplest form it is a prison/ slave pen. Most residents there are Svirfniblen that work for the Ministry in their workshops. It is also a small well-stocked Gulag who are quite lenient on its residents. This is to not damage the City or the Ministry’s image.
- The Farm Sector - Is a large number of farms fueled by artificial light using Kol lamps. Different layers grow different crops which are catered for around the clock. Workers on the farm are generally treated with a modicum of respect due to growing the food which feeds most citizens.
- The Skaya - The Skaya is the beating heart of production for the Ministry. Layers of workshops, forges and other various craftsmen are mixed together to form an immense network of layers each with connections to Gugruvik.
- The Market - The market is a large collection of shops which sell pretty much anything and everything an adventurer would need. There is a dark underside of the Market beneath within the tunnels of Gugruvik, the black market as well as other things are available to the right buyer.
Government
The city is run by the Ministry of Steel and the MSPPC. Although the MSPPC is the current ruling government nationwide Oylovka is mostly untouched being 99% controlled by the Ministry.
Infrastructure
The city is built upon the great way consisting of an innumerable amount of tunnels. These tunnels have been carved out by the dwarves and other creatures over the years. All the stone buildings have been built by a Ministry-approved building contractor, any buildings erected without an official Ministry stamp are torn down and the tenants punished with extreme force. Market stalls, on the other hand, are considered not official buildings and therefore uninsured. The Citadel of steel was constructed using a combination of Gulag workers for manual labor, engineers for the complex structures, and powerful mages to setup potent defenses.
