Mazteca

Mazteca is split into two major regions. The Mestihe people reside within the Mestihe Jungle, and the Tersian people that live outside of the jungle by the lakes and across the Tarka Desert. The region of Mazteca is well known for the duality and contrast within the two regions. The Mestihe people grew their cities within the jungle, still living within the trees, save for their temples in jungle clearings. They live with nature and many religions worship the sun and the stars. Outside of the jungle, the city of Ashak is the place where inventors gather and new creations are developed. Mazteca following the war became a more united realm, the Mestihe and Tersian people began working together. The Mestihe people shared their knowledge of the Jungle, of hunting and gathering whilst the Tersian people shared their advanced inventions to improve the Mestihe way of life. Now they all refer to themselves simply as Maztecans.

Geography

The Western side of Mazteca is mostly made up of the Tarka Desert. There is also a lake there, and in the centre of the lake is the technologically inventive city of Ashak. The Eastern side of Mazteca is made up of luscious trees and the expansive forest that is the Mestihe Jungle. Within the Mestihe Jungle, there are a few large cities and many small villages scattered throughout. To the west of Mazteca, there are the Helstav Mountains, the Grecian Border to the north, and the Opatran Border to the south.
