Hjarnbjorn's Jarldom
Hjarnborn, the Jarl who rules the West with an iron fist. He started off as a good Jarl but slowly he began to raise the tax on the land, take a larger amount of the harvest from the people. Now it appears that famine has struck the land but Hjarnborn continues to demand the tax and tribute despite the peoples cries of anguish. If only it was just the famine, civil war has begun in the Jarldom with Bjorn 'Wolfhelm' Brynjarsson returning as a man seeking to overthrow the cruel Jarl, it is rumoured he has set up camp on the island off the coast.
Within the Jarldom to the North is the great forest of Steddesgronne, famed for its untouched natural beauty and dutiful protectors. The forest is untouched because of the Dryads, Nymphs and few Elves that live there, in most cases they will fire warning shots from within the forest itself, if an intruder decides to come closer, they may experience an arrow to one of their limbs. The forest is inhabited by species not seen anywhere else, along with the extremely rare Faras flower famed for its healing qualities.
Originating from the great Gronfjell mountains is the Fjord Skyrr, which teems with life and is perfect for the fishers of the Jarldom. The mountains themselves are a sight to behold, mountains that are green almost to their peak, covered on grass, trees and teeming with wildlife. Do not let the beauty make you feel safe for the mountains also are ripe with forktails and Tigrex.
Further south lies Hareik, a forest famed for its tough ancient oak trees that stand firm through the years. It too however is beginning to suffer from the famine gripping the surrounding land.
