Halls To The Gods

Sitting atop a hill overlooking to town of Bouria & the lake Vathiá Nerá, in the North Western province of Grecia. Sits the fabled Hall To The Gods. A large extravagant building that puts the rest of Bouria to shame, the ancient structure said to have been built around the time the very gods walked in Grecia. Originally 13 of them were built, each dedicated to a different god, but over the years through turmoil and conflict the rest of them fell. The last and final Hall houses all the Gods, being a central place to worship in all of Grecia.

Purpose / Function

Built to be a place for the people of Grecian to come and worship their chosen Gods. It is also a place for the people to come and speak to the Theoí Eklektós, or Gods Chosen, once every year to see what the future has in store for them. This is a big part of Grecian culture. Most, if not all, citizens of Grecia will travel far and wide it visit Theoí Eklektós, and see what insight the Gods have given to her to deliver to the people.

Design

The large, singular room, measures approximately 15’ by 25’, the floor is made of smooth white marble with various patterns and etchings around the side. Along the walls are half-moon cutouts housing the statues representing each God. Various shrines litter the floor, as people come here to pray in their own way to the chosen God. The ceiling is made from a mix of white and red stone, gold trim outlines each of the significant artwork that has been etched into the ceiling depicting various locations and activities from the gods histories. About 15’ in from the entrance way a large red and silver velvet felt covers the next section of the room, covering it from top to bottom, save for a cutout manned by 2 guards constantly.

Alterations

Over the years, the structure has had to be modified several times to account for the increasing number of God statues present within the building. Originally only designed to house 1, the Grecians are proud of their God heritage and prefer to personally & manually construct/repair buildings that represent them.

Architecture

Constructed of white marble, with red clay roof. It’s an ancient building, and one of the last buildings still standing that represents the Ancient Grecian culture. Large pillars hold atop the spectacular roof, the inside of this building houses artwork from some of Grecian finest masons holding historical moments throughout the Gods history.

History

Built long ago, when the Gods walked Heliodarna, was the Hall To The Gods. When it was constructed it was referred to as Halls of Hephaestus, but as more of the Halls fell this one remained and was renamed sometime in the late -700sBR.
