Gugruvik

A massive network of mine shafts, tunnels and prisons. Any slaves obtained by the Steel Ministry, or prisoners from the cities are sent to the mines. The conditions within the mines are poorly kept at best, and there is only 1 known connection between Gugruvik & the surface of Metrus. A large set of Black Iron Gates called "The Gates of Sorrow" they are periodically opened up to the poisonous air of Metrus in an attempt to discourage the rebellious & cull the slave population. They are also used as a constant threat in the prisoners in the mine seem unrestless, or unwilling to do their jobs. The gates are opened and panic shortly ensues. There has only been 1 ever record of a successful escape from Gugruvik, it was performed by a Drow called Calaral Daevith and group known as Blackrock. The exact specifics of the breakout is unknown, however the rumour amoung the slave populus was that Calaral betrayed almost all of his comrades in the prisons that day and sacrificed them so him and his group could escape, and flee deeper into the mines.
