Animo

The Animo family are scholars, they have never been fighters and their lands resemble them. Their capital city of Northhollow was built around the skeletal remains of a dragon and the bones are one of two main attractions within the small Imperadom. The second attraction is the Great Library of Augustus, named after the only man who walked away after killing the great dragon when all his allies died. The library is the largest in the Marble Coast and contains vast collections of books that detail great histories, discoveries, wars, heroes and vast knowledge on forgotten lore.
The Animo family despite having a plethora of powerful mages surrendered rather than fight the conquering Tempus'. Their surrender came with a single term however, they may keep their library and all it's knowledge but no mage may step foot within the Imperadom without a writ from the High Imperator himself, the Animo family were banned from studying magic ever again. The then head of house Octavius had to give up his family heirlooms, a staff and a book, which now reside within the palace of Titans Rest. The Animo family are currently led by Gallus Animo.
