Heliod Cluster

A cluster of stars only connected by ancient stargates from a long extinct civilization, the Heliod Cluster is home to a variety of races on the brink of chaos. An uneasy armistice exists between the Klingon Imperium and the Systems Alliance, with both major powers vying for control of the habitable worlds and valuable ancient technology. While the great powers square off, ancient threats stir, shadowy factions vie for power and others just try to make a tidy profit before the peace shatters.   The Heliod Cluster is the homebrew campaign setting for my next sci-fi RPG campaign. Heavily inspired from other space fantasy stories, the plan for now is use heavily rethemed rule for 5th edition D&D inspired by Dark Matter, Esper Genesis & Hyperlanes with some custom races based on existing alien classics. This universe will include Klingons from Star Trek, Jedi from Star Wars, Geth from Mass Effect and many more races and concepts transplanted from the stories that inspire me.
