Ephemeris tou Paris Emporius tom. III
Ever since his years at the Archaeological Academy, Paris Emporius has written several journals detailing his daily life. As stated in his first journal, the intention is to "provide for the archaeologists of the future as many details as I can muster. If I could carve this all in stone for them, I would". By the time of his third journal, he had graduated from the academy and was a fully-fledged archaeologist, and it was around this time when he discovered the Pyrsos Lukhoros Citadel, his greatest discovery. The journals also tell several other things, ranging from the events that happened day to day on expeditions or during his downtime, to mundane facts about the world around him, to his personal feelings about current events.
Purpose
The journals of Professor Emporius served a pair of important purposes. The first purpose was the organization of the professor's thoughts, as he can be notoriously scatterbrained regarding his studies and his journals allow him to properly organize his thoughts. The other purpose is to act as a document of showing the world of Makadelos as it is in the 18th and 19th centuries to future archaeologists, as a gift to those in the future who practice his craft.
