Heirs of the Crossroads: Jujiro City

There is a world that is familiar; a city with buildings, roads, bridges, churches. It's a melting pot of cultures and faiths the world over. It has over a million human Citizens. For the Denizens that are less human, that world is an endless well of power.

Jujiro city is the crossroads for old myths and new rumors, of old gods and larger than life celebrities. The world of ideas is constantly shifting, and in this city that world has a life of its own.

Strangers wander the streets, some mischievous, some predatory, some wondrous, some feral, but all making their way up from the UnderGround.

All the while the the human Citizens live their lives passing the invisible each day, with beings on High, looking down on them and the shadows both.

Some in the city can see into those worlds. Some can even step through the gates and walk the world of ideas. The ones who cross every barrier and wander the realms both mundane and imaginary are the Players.

You were an ordinary person once, but now you're something more. You can grasp the changing gestalt and just for a moment take control. You can converse with legendary heroes and gods. You've taken a piece of that world and made it a part of you. So go, travel, journey as far as you can imagine, but always remember: however high you fly, you never really leave the city's streets.
