The mythical Pond of fable and lore found in southern Tol Vierda. This wonderous pool is most recognizable for it part in the Prince of the pond fable told throughout Tol Vierda from elder to youth. Leaving this very mundane body of water, clouded in a fog of mysticism and superstition. Not that the folk of these part don't have cause to wonder. More then one report of black hounds and strange lights have been reported in the area. Loch Glas is not the largest pond nor the easiest to reach, but it makes up for it in magic occurrences.
Its unexplored depths are home to many mysteries including its frequency to spontaneous luminesces during odd hours of the night, monstrous noises and sightings of supposed fairer folk roaming the surrounding woods. Many deaths, suicides' and disappearances have also been attributed to the Region, more concerning in the frequency and tendency for those lost to be youths and children of the near by hamlets and villages. This had lead many people to believe the entire area is indeed cursed or plagued by yet unknown wildlife. Some say trolls while other affirm it to be the princeling in his black hound guise prowling the pond and its surrounding thickets.
This mythos has drawn many outsiders to the pond in search of the legendary black hound, From Bands of Fiann to dashing explorers of the eldritch realms of old. They all venture for the lost and the treasure that it might bring. But all have returned empty handed so far. Folk worry regardless, rumor spread that there intrusion will only bring further deaths and bizarreries to the humble people of the county. That by treading on this hallow princes prison will only bring about his wraith. Yet more everyday come to explore that isolated pond shores, in search of something.... what that might be good or ill is for only the dead gods to know.
