Heartwell

Heartwell: An alternate version of earth, where America became a Clergy led republic, tied to a greater empire. Due to the advances in the Heartwell Project, rifts to hell itself have opened up, transforming the landscape of Earth into a grim, darkened husk of its former self. Here, the wall between hell and earth becomes blurred, and the only ones who can reverse the tears of the fabric of reality, and dismantle the control of the Clergy, are the Prophets - the few devoted to an ancient, holy order that existed from the beginning of time. As doomsday approaches, the prophets are more powerful than ever, but as the world's metaphysical barriers weaken, so do their foes. With so few prophets standing at the side of heaven, and the world falling into chaos and oblivion at threatening speeds, do they even stand a chance?
