This world closely mirrors our own: Physically, it is observably the same as Earth. However, the socioeconomic conflicts we experience are amplified in this world. Unfettered capitalism has reached its peak. Political conflict fought physically through professional hitmen has been institutionalized and commercialized. Meritocracy is rampant among all cultures of the world: Those who do not offer value have none. In Heart, the conditions of your birth will rigidly determine everything you will experience, and the "free will" of individual changes very little.   But there are those whose whims truly matter, and they are capable of changing the grim reality they occupy. These people are dubbed "Fate Weavers," and are born with exceptional abilities called "Will", altering their physicality, mentality, or perception. Some are even given the ability to manipulate, create, and destroy matter at will. The extent of their abilities is limited by their will to accomplish a task. The greater they desire to see their goal come true, the stronger these Wills are.
