Hawkshire

The small suburb of Hawkshire, Arizona has gone by many names. Over 2500 years ago, a race of monster-like creatures inhabited this area, harnessing their magical abilities to fight off the discrimination against them by the native humans. However, in a strange twist of fate, thousands of human children from all over the world ended up on a desolate desert in the North American tropics. They were raised by these monsters and grew to become accepting of the strange and diverse species. The monsters, renamed menselnites by the humans, granted them their magic, and in return, humans granted them protection by sheer numbers from the constant attacks by the native population.   This equilibrium lasted for many centuries, but a tragic event tipped the scales of the relationship. One thing led to another, and the menselnites died out en masse, the humans following shortly after. The magic that remained was buried in the ground, and today, any child that steps on the soil of Hawkshire is granted a particular suite of magical abilities, called Plumes.   However, after eons of relative calm, some things are stirring again. It started with a spike in both powerful and malignant Plumes, then the manifestation of spirits into tangible apparitions. The ghosts of Hawkshire are haunting this neighborhood once more, and only by severing their broken legacy would the suburb return to some normalcy.   The story unfolds from the beginning to the end, told through a long walk through the Six Domains of the Plumes. Act 1 follows Damien Outteridge and Alexander Wang as they try to reconcile with their pasts of tragedy and loss, reconciling with a rogue group of errant teens called the Raptor's Chain. Act 2 follows Evan Harrison in his journey to accept himself in the midst the Hawkshire High Investigation Club, a gathering of great minds on the trail of solving a crucial case. Act 3 follows Hannah Turner as she navigates through the trials and tribulations of normal life and purest love, to persist even in the darkest of times. Act 4 is unspoken; something is hiding in the void. Act 5 brings an end, or a beginning to a new tale.
