Haven

Many historians believe that the Sundering should've ended all life as it existed. But it didn't. Life goes on for the people of Haven. They thrive, grow, and compete with each other on the spit of land that escaped the fate of becoming an unlivable wasteland. Time has made it almost seem as if the Sundering never happened.   Almost.   The gods have been silent for centuries, only their few remaining followers attempting to practice any form of devotion. Much knowledge of the Pre-Sundering times have been lost, historians and archaeologists making feeble attempts to recover it. All royal lines have perished, leaving dukes and duchess to try and lead the people into the future.   Worse still, unrest has started to ripple through Haven. Assassins, demons, undead, and even each other have started prey on the innocent. Good men and women seem to be fewer with the passing days, and desperation laces everyone's actions.   Yet, the hope remains that this is all a moment in time. A dark moment before the light of dawn...
