Hominis x Angelus (Latin: homō "human being" / angelus "angel") is the nothogenus that encompasses an innumerable amount of extant mythological species, plus several extinct species classified as either ancestral to or closely related to modern members (depending on the species).

Names

Members of this nothogenus are named various names across the globe. Angel-kin in Shanai, Nephilim in Otharia, Oman in the American East-West Confederacy, and so on.

Origin

As per Amios' research, the nothogenus is taken to have emerged with the appearance of The Watchers, not long after the start of human civilization. One of their legions, whom he called The Forefathers, disputed among themselves that they should take human wives and bear mighty children whom they would teach the secrets of the divine.

Masters of Evolution

Members of this nothogenus have the defining characteristic of being able to evolve over time unlike the original beings created by the Abrahamic God.

Dispersal

Despite being spread globally, the biggest density of Hominis x Angelus is situated in Central and Eastern Asia, with the lowest being North Asia, and the Middle East.
